William Dimitrov Knowles is a first generation Bulgarian-American. Born in Madrid, Spain, his family emigrated to Miami, Florida where he spent the majority of his youth. His work has screened at several film festivals, including the Los Angeles Film Festival and his short film Anna, was the recipient of a Student Emmy Award. He holds a BA in Media Arts from BYU and an MFA in Film Production from the prestigious School of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California, where he was an Irvin Kershner filmmaker scholarship recipient.
An accomplished Writer and Director, William's work has premiered at over 40 film festivals worldwide, garnering awards and critical acclaim. His work draws inspiration from character based dramas and the human condition, focused on continually inspiring and instilling hope. He is the Founder and President of Eternal City Pictures.
